STARs of Innovation Awards & Technology Hall of Fame

The STARs of Innovation Awards honors those with significant contributions to technology innovation and entrepreneurship in South Texas.

Recipients are selected annually by a SATAI committee and from a pool of publicly nominated candidates (if you are interested in nominating someone for the award or learning about the 2010 event please contact us at marketing@satai.us.) Award winners are recognized at the annual SATAI STARs event and receive the coveted Sextant Award.

Award Categories

AT&T STARs Technology Hero
SATAI’s premier award is presented to a company or individual who has played a major civic role in paving the way for the technology and bioscience industries in San Antonio and South Texas.

Science and Technology Hall of Fame
Given to an (or multiple) individual, inventor or innovator who has provided a significant scientific or technological advance that has had a social or economic impact in the world, in the past, in the present, and in the future.

SATAI Technology Superstars
Given to a (or multiple) promising early-stage company that is poised to become a leader in the South Texas technology community.
