Bio

Ms. Palmer is the Marketing Manager for SATAI where she is responsible for marketing and executing the organization’s mission to Inspire, Create and Grow technology businesses in San Antonio and the South Texas region through its non-profit services and network of entrepreneurs, inventors, angel investors and service providers.She has worked in marketing for over twelve years, focusing on technology, finance, and professional sports. She also regularly volunteers her time and expertise to community events and charitable organizations.

Before joining SATAI, Ms. Palmer was the Assistant Marketing Director and Operations Manager for the Los Angeles Junior Chamber of Commerce (LAJCC) where she directed marketing and operations for the Northern Trust Open, a PGA TOUR tournament played at the Riviera Country Club. The Northern Trust Open has generated more than $50 million for philanthropic programs in Southern California since its inception in 1926.During her six year tenure at LAJCC, Ms. Palmer helped raise over $12 million in net charitable proceeds.She provided marketing vision and knowledge of pricing, branding, promoting, and selling tournament products. She acquired and administered six-figure sponsorship accounts including Fortune 500 companies.Ms. Palmer also acted as tournament producer directing event planning, tournament logistics and operations. She managed communications with all tournament constituents, including PGA TOUR, Riviera Country Club, broadcast partners, Los Angeles City and County officials, sponsors, vendors and volunteers.

Prior to LAJCC, Ms. Palmer lived in Seattle and worked for RealNetworks, a leader in the Internet media revolution. She directed marketing of the company’s technologies and software at product launches at both domestic and international events. Ms. Palmer secured more than 300 speaking opportunities for company executives, including more than 30 keynotes, including speeches at the Consumer Electronics Show and Internet World. She has served on the RealNetworks Foundation Technology Grant Access Committee that selected recipients for grants intended to increase technology access to underserved communities.

In Seattle, Ms. Palmer also worked for American Express Financial Advisors (AEFA) and as an International Banking Associate at US Bank.

Ms. Palmer holds a B.A. in Economics from Whitman College.
